Global Angels’ very own founder, Molly Bedingfield, takes being an Angel very seriously. She is so serious in fact, that she is willing to take that message to the heights of Mt. Everest for a skydive adventure that will be written down in the Guinness Book of World Records, raising desperately needed funds for some of Nepal’s most vulnerable children. Her cause has taken flight and our friends at the The LA Times recently highlighted her jump in a featured editorial on September 17th.

On the 21st of January there was a fantastic article on and Global Angels and Molly in You Magazine.

The article conveys Molly as "an example of how one woman has harnessed the good, and the talent in those around her to help deprived children at home and abroad," and he type of women that characterizes who will win the YOU/Clarins 'Most Dynamisante Woman of the Year' prize. The winner will receive £30,000 for her charity.

We've just become the Global Charity Partners for Hard Rock International, started a new feeding program in Guludo, Mozambique, and moved to brand new offices! At Hard Rock International’s recent Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida, a global fundraising partnership with Global Angels was announced, bringing Hard Rock locations in 45 countries in as “Corporate Angels”. We are very excited about 2007 and especially with such a great start.

What a wonderful year we've had in 2006. We are currently feeding and educating 1400 childen a day in Mozambique, Malawi, and Angola. Our goal is to feed and educate 1 million children every day in Africa, Asia and Latin America and we hope that in 2007 we will be able to add many more to this number.

In October we launched a new Campaign called Little Angels.

Little Angels gives children the opportunity to express their own views on poverty and to find creative ways to support projects helping vulnerable children around the world.

Olivia Grant from Tracy Beaker became our first Little Angels Ambassador.

Laura Michelle Kelly has just visited Cambodia as a Global Angels Ambassador and has been completely blown away by the courageous children she met at the Hagar Project and heart broken at what they have suffered. Laura came back totally convinced that we should help this project and we will. Read more about her trip below.

On the 14th of September, Robert Mackintosh generously invited Global Angels to use one of the preview nights of 'Daddy Cool' to fundraise for children. Read more in the newsletter about the event.
