School Feeding in Guludo, Mozambique
In the extremely poor and drought-ridden Muslim community of Guludo, every year food shortages threaten the lives of thousands of people.
Set up alongside an internationally recognized Fair Trade venture the Guludo school feeding project provides food and education for over 300 children every day in a brand new primary school for the Guludo community and we are extending the program to feed another 300 in surrounding schools.
Joint Aid Management works in Sudan, partnering with the WFP and UN in emergency nutritional programmes for children with serious malnutrition and in school feeding programmes.
They currently assist more than 1, 600 children through school feeding activities in Pibor County and urgently need funding to sponsor more children.

In 2004 a network of child focused soup kitchens and feeding centres was formed in the San Jose valley for street kids and children from very poor families. Thirty-four participating institutions feed 1,500 children a daily nutritious breakfast. Thousands more could be helped if were able to raise the funds.
In the Sunshine Centre 80 children from poverty-stricken families receive a nutritious cooked meal every day, alongside informal schooling and healthcare. For many of these destitute children it is the only real meal they will receive each day.
1,400,000 children under 17 years old have been orphaned by AIDS in South Africa and there are thousands of child headed households.
Joint Aid Management is currently feeding thousands of children and orphans in their school feeding programme in Orange Farm, Johannesburg. They provide 70% of each child's daily requirement every school day.
