GKN PLC sponsored Bear Grylls and Giles Cardoza’s Everest paramotor mission. In 2007, on Monday May 14th, Bear Grylls teamed up with Giles and, with the backing of the GKN Mission Everest team, flew over Everest by paramotor! This achievment led to Bear Grylls claiming the title of first man to fly over Mount Everest by powered paraglider.

To earn their Corporate Angel status, GKN have donated £40,000 for operating costs to Global Angels over a two year period, Angels like these help us keep our 100% promise!
