Joanathan Azu currently serves as Executive VP, Business Development and Marketing at Superfly Presents, an independent music company specializing in event production, talent booking and client solutions.

Joanathan was influential in helping us launch Global Angels in the US, sharing his home with our team on the many trips we made to the US in the lead up to the Hard Rock Concert in Times Square, New York. He works closely with us on our strategic plan and partnerships for future events in the US.
Previously Joanathan was Vice President of Strategic Music and Entertainment Partnerships for CBS RADIO.
Joanathan joined CBS RADIO in 1999 as Marketing Coordinator for Soft Rock 102.5, KEZK in St. Louis. In 2003, became Account Manager in CBS RADIO’s newly formed corporate marketing and sales team, the Altitude Group. As Account Manager, Joanathan coordinated program activation for CBS RADIO’s number one grossing client, AOL.
In January of 2006, was promoted to Vice President of Strategic Music and Entertainment Partnerships, which focused on developing integrated multi-media programs that link advertisers and the entertainment industry with CBS RADIO’s powerful brands.
Joanathan graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Marketing from Drake University where he served as Student Body President of Activities and was the beneficiary of the Board of Governors Leadership Award. Joanathan is an active member of the Drake University Alumni Association Advisory Board and the recipient of the 2007 Drake University Young Alumni Achievement Award.
He is married to Rosa Alvarado, a strategic design specialist for Medallion Retail.
